The Story
Delaforce has been shipping Port since 1868 and is now part of Real Companhia Velha, with the house known in particular for helping popularise aged Tawny styles among British shippers. His Eminence’s Choice dates back to the 1930s and is made from selected reserves aged for at least ten years in seasoned oak casks, giving it that softened, nutty, mature style while still keeping fruit at its core. It sits very neatly in the classic 10 Year Tawny mould – mellow, elegant and built more for slow enjoyment than brute force.
